The most expensive garden city hospital in the world is located in the U.S. capital of Washington, D.C., and is named after the Garden City neighborhood.
It’s known for its outdoor gardens and restaurants, including Olive Garden.
The Washington, DC, hospital is one of four hospitals that make the list, according to Hospitality Marketing Group, a market research firm.
The other three are in Chicago and Baltimore.
The hospital charges an average of $2,400 per person per day per person for private care, but this includes all the medical costs and any nursing home care.
The average per-person bill for a private doctor’s visit at Olive Garden is $1,800.
The cheapest private doctor visit at the hospital is $400.
The hospital is also a “top-ranked” hospital for its efficiency, according Hospitality Management Group.
It charges an effective cost of $6,000 per patient per day, according the firm.
Olive Garden also makes the list of the top hospitals for doctors’ visits and nurses’ visits.
The top-ranked hospital is Mercy Hospital in Portland, Oregon, according Hospitals & Hospitals Worldwide.
